:: Making a Piggin' Pouch         Print

The Piggin pouch is one of those little inventions that was devised at one of our very own sessions.  The problem arose that we had a large circle of people and a floor that was to be kept ash free.  The only solution to this was a large heavy smelly ash tray that had to be passed around with the joints.  As you can imagine the bad vibes given off from the big dirty ash tray was too much and we had an excess of foil.  The Piggin pouch was born.

The Piggin pouch is simply a little tin foil pouch.  There was a pouch made for everybody in attendance at the session.  The pouch did actually solve many a problem.  When passing a doob it would be placed into the next persons pouch preventing ash dropping during transfer.  When you weren’t smoking the join rested nicely in the pouch preventing ash from falling on your cloths or you being burnt from hot rocks.

To make your very own Piggin pouch just follow these simple steps.

  1. Get some foil about 5cm in width and 15cm in length.

  1. Fold the foil in half length ways.

  1. Now fold the two ends together and the fold them back again the other way, this should hold the two ends together.

  1. Now do the same with the bottom edge of the foil.

Now you should have a fully functioning Piggin pouch.
