:: Rolling a two-paper joint          Print

Once you’ve got the hand of basic rolling techniques and figured out your rolling style you should be ready to move up a level to larger 2 skin joints.  When I say 2 skins I mean 2 king size skins, I do recommend using king size papers when rolling simply because the effort of rolling is rewarded with more to smoke if you roll king size. Every body has there own style of rolling so this may not be the best way for you, with a bit of patience, you will find the best way for you to roll.  This is the way I roll and so hopefully it can act as a guideline.

Step 1

Find some king size rolling papers.  Now take two papers from your pack and place them on the table in an L shape with the gum of paper A of the L on the left facing up and the gum of paper B facing left.

Step 2

Lick the left half of the gum on paper B.  Place paper A on top of it and press down to stick the papers together.  Now take a lighter and slowly heat the wet gum to dry it out and make the seal hold.

Step 3

Make a crease along the length of the paper, this crease will be your guideline whilst rolling and so should be at an angle to help achieve a cone. Make a rip from the top left of paper B at an angle to where paper A ends on the right.

Step 5

Get some tobacco and make a layer along of it along the bottom inside the crease.  Now add a layer of weed and add another layer of tobacco on top.  The mix should follow the creases angle to again help to achieve a cone.

Step 6

Make a roach; this is done by taking a small strip of card and rolling it to a width suitable for smoking with.  Place the roach in the left hand side of paper A at the smallest end of the crease.

Step 7

Put the roach end of the joint between your thumb, index finger and middle finger and do the same with the other end of the joint with your other hand.  Now gently roll the tobacco inside the papers into a solid cone shape.

Step 8

Now you need to rearrange your hands, move you index fingers from behind the joint and use it to push the overlapping part of the crease between the mix and the back paper, it might be easier to ease the pressure of your middle finger on the back paper and then try to trap the front paper between it and the mix.  This needs to be done with both hands at the same time to achieve the best shape and to avoid sagginess.

Step 9

Now roll the rest of the paper around the joint until you get to the gum, lick the gum of the bottoms paper and rap that around, then lick the gum of the ripped paper and rap that around as well.

Step 10

Finally just poke the mix down to make It compact and twist the end.
