:: Rolling a 'tulip' joint          Print

The tulip as actually very simple to make, it’s effectively just a pouch of mix attached to a cardboard tube.  There are of course many modifications for example the nosecone which is a joint with a tulip cone attached to the end of it.  Here I will go through how to make the basic tulip.

Firstly you need to make a triangular pouch that you can fill with a mix of tobacco and weed.  Take two papers and face them as shown below, then lick the gum of the right hand side paper and stick them together.

Now you want to take the top right hand corner and fold it down to the bottom left hand corner leaving the gum to the side.

Now lick the gum and fold it over.  This should hold the papers together and form a cone when spread out.

Now fill the cone with a normal mix the same as you would use in a joint.

Then compact it down so there is enough paper left at the top to be able to scrunch it closed.

Now you need to make an extra long roach, it will be about the length and shape of a pencil.  Jus take some card and fold it into a tube.

This tube then has to be inserted into the pouch of mix, scrunch the excess paper around the tube and then take a bit of string or elastic band and fix the tube in the pouch as shown below.
