:: Making a Plastic Bong          Print

For those of you just beginning to venture out into the world of cannabis and the many ways to smoke it then this guide might be of some use to you. In it you will find easy step by step guides that show you how to make various types of plastic bongs and lungs in just minutes.

You will need:

-Plastic Bottle (small or large)
-A Lighter
-Hosepipe/Down pipe
-Super Glue

Step 1

Find yourself a 500 ml plastic bottle. These are easy to find, any drinking bottle for example an oasis bottle is ideal.

Step 2

Find yourself a lighter. Remove the plastic label on the bottle. Now take the lighter and burn a whole about one third of the way up the bottle, once a small whole appears you can take a hose pipe/down pipe and force it through the hole making it bigger as you do so. Do not make a whole the size of your down pipe with the lighter as the sounding plastic will melt and the hole will be too big. The melted plastic also helps to seal the hole if the correct size is made.

Step 3

Now if your seal between the bottle and your down pipe isn't great then that's not a problem, find yourself some super glue and seal the gaps with that.

Step4

You need to get some foil to make the gauze, find a pin and make some small holes in the top of the gauze. Now wrap the gauze around the top of the down pipe so that its fairly tight and no air will come in under the foil.

Step 5

Make a shot hole in the back of the bong by taking the lighter and burning a small hole in a position thats easy to cover with the thumb.

Step 6

Now to finish off the bong all you need to do is add the water, fill it so that the water level is above the bottom of the down pipe but not above were the down pipe enters the bottle. Now whack some mix on your gauze (see mix making tutorial) and your ready to smoke.
