:: Making a Ceramic Bong          Print

Step 1

Find a suitable vessel to make your bong out of. I recommend a piggy bank, they are easily converted into Bongs and come in many shapes and sizes.

Step 2

Find the equipment you will need to make your bong. You will need the following equipment:-

Advanced:

-Drill
-Hosepipe
-Foil
-Superglue
-Polyfiller
-File
-Pin

Beginner:

-File
-Nail
-Foil
-Superglue
-Tape
 

There are 2 choices because there is a professional and amateur way of making your pipe. If you have the tools stated in the first list available it is Advisable that you use them.

Step 3

Drill into the pipe at the front where you want the down pipe to go. The hole can be widened either by using the file or using the drill on the sides of the hole. If you donÕt have a drill the nail is needed to scratch of the surface and create a hole, once the hole is made the file can be used to make the hole bigger. This can be a painful and slow process which takes dedication and time.

Step 4

Now the hole in the back of your pipe needs to be made. This is done in the same way as shown in step 3.

Step 5

The hose pipe/down pipe is then inserted into the hole and if needed sealed with superglue.

Step 6

If you are using a piggy bank there will be an opening at the bottom to enable you to remove your money. This hole needs sealing with superglue.

Step 7

If you have polyfiller, the hole at the top of the piggy Bank can be filled with it, if not tape can be used to Cover it.

Step 8

The hose pipe now needs gauze. You do this by taking a piece of foil roughly 4*4cm and covering the end off the hose pipe with it, you make an indentation with your finger and then pin it.

Step 9

The pipe now finally needs some water. As the pipe is Unlikely to be clear you will simply need to use trial and error to see how much water you need. When you here bubbles the pipe is finished and smokable.
